Detect DDoS Attacks.
#1

Hello,

I have a VPS that worked fine before this morning.
Yesterday when I wen't to bed, there were about 90 players, then this morning I come in, and it start reconnecting like 10 times, and suddenly it was over, no more connection.
I contacted my host company, and they told me that there wasn't anything wrong because they didn't get a error message, after this I started looking by myself, when I ping to the IP from home, I get a timeout, but when I ping inside the console at the controlpanel from my hoster, I get results, so this is wierd.
And also I'm not the only one that isn't able to connect to it, because nobody can.

It runs a Linux Centos 5.5 32 bit system.

Does somebody heard about this problem before, or how can I check if I get ddossed.

Greetz, Roel

Ps; everyone who read this can you ping to 159.253.5.205 and tell me if you get results, then I will be able to fix it easier.
