I have fifa09 and it really is weird at first after playing FIFA08. The controls are different then in FIFA08 but I didn't see any more improvements then that. Except that the graphics are a little bit better but that is almost not noticeable (imo).

At first, if you are not sure you want to buy the game or not, download it before you buy it. That way you can try the game if you like it or not
