Sure, the compiler crashes when reading the code, but it could be any pawn code even in the mysql script. Try to edit out the mysql code to see if that causes the compiler crash.

I dont understand why the other way i wrote wont work for you, it always worked for me and i found the chunk of code that crashed the compiler pretty quick.

Remember you dont need it to compile without errors, that doesn't matter when you are just trying to find out if the compiler crashes or not. If it gives compiler errors thats great because it didnt crash.

Think back at what you where coding when you first noticed the compiler crash and try removing it by commenting out the code.
