Visual Basic is a bad language, which can only be used in Windows software, Pawn is made with C, and the implementation of it, is made in C too. C can be used in any O.S, and there are more options than VB, if you want to make a plugin, use C, VB is a bad way to start, because it's "easy" to the person that uses it.
