You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. I'm am not an expert on plugins either, but there should be a file called make or makefile or something similar somewhere within the source. CD to that directory and execute it. The plugin topic usually gives more information on how to compile it. It goes without saying that Linux plugins need to be compiled on Linux.
