You should look at the transmitter. Most likely it'll say it supports charges from 110V - 230V. USA uses 120, Europe generally 220. So if it says what I wrote, it'll work. If it doesn't say so, and you still connect, the transmitter will explode.
Hold it in your hands for one minute after connecting for safety reasons, though. If it somehow doesn't work out too good, it'll heat up very fast (so you don't have to wait hours).
