This bug is not only related to 0.3e, because moving object functions weren't edited in 0.3e, so it should happen in previous versions (I don't know from which one). I'm not also 100% sure it is just me.
So, some days ago I realised why I can't sprint in only one place (I was on the platforms with object model ID 3095). I think I found out why - when I sprint on a moving object (for example that platform or a pirate ship), I can't sprint anymore if I'm standing on an object with that model ID if it's already moving. That means I can't sprint anymore on the platform or a pirate ship, when I press shift I just run like normal, only keys to move my ped works. It's a big problem for me, because it's ruining the game - when you have 5 seconds (this is an example) to find where is a pickup and pick up it, you will probably lose, because I can't sprint (the game takes place at those platforms).
In short:
- try to sprint on a moving object (no effect, just runs normal)
- get on other object (which is not moving) with same model ID
- try to sprint on this object
In fact, you can't sprint anymore if you are on this object (I didn't test it on normal objects).
I hope you understand what I'm trying to say and if other have same problem, I hope it would be fixed.
