SQLite seems to be better for smaller end type of projects; which is what an SA:MP server would consist of. You will not be getting thousands of people connecting within minutes and saving that massive amounts of data constantly. The limits on SQLite for even the largest of SA:MP servers out there are perfectly fine. You will never need to run MySQL on a server.

Also, SQLite CAN be used remotely. So don't bother listening to such nonsense.
