Look for a key on your laptop called "fn" (mine is the bottom right key) Then look on your other keys (letters) there should be some with little numbers on. Hold fn and press the key with the letter and number ie, 4 for left 6 for right.
On my laptop fn & U=4 (left) and fn & O=6(right). They will be in different places on different laptops.
If you don't have an "fn" key look at your laptops manual I'm sure they provided a way to enter number-pad keys.
