Starting with Los Santos, copied after Los Angeles, here are some pictures:
Watts Tower
----this looks just like the towers in-game...i think you noticed them..(not to mention the Hollywood/VineWood sign...)
Turning to San Fierro, made after San Francisco, we notice the well-known bridge:
