The "English & Culture" Hype: A Thread Everyone Should Read
#2

You bring up a valid point, however I will also try to explain WHY people tend to argue ones grammar.

For example one makes a post about how his server is the best, and that everyone needs to join, you'll get free administrative rights etcetera. Usally this is posted in the wrong section, which could've been prevented if one read the rules. (not to mention the fact those threads are posted in CaPS and colors (sorry, I don't want to BB code the color aswell).

Now you could try to explain that it's the wrong section, he'll simply ignore you, or will start throwing insults. (eventually he'll start insulting in a foreighn language - topic gets locked, and we haven't got anywhere).

What I'm trying to say is, that if you stay in the sa-mp scene long enough, you'll notice ALOT of these threads, it'll start to annoy you - and I am not saying that it's right to insult one for using bad grammer, posting in the wrong section or something among those lines. I am just saying that I think it's understandable.

Let me quickly add to this:

I DO completely agree with your point, and I did not meant to say that I encourage such behaviour. However I don't see the community drastically change. Anyhow I'll join you in getting the point across.
