Be sure to post anything you make, you can get really tallented at this hobby, even build a career. ****** Sketchup has aided many people who dislike using CAD programs such as AutoCAD or 3DsMAX for architectural design. Where as ****** Sketchup, you can layout your plan, then just use the push/pull tool to pull it into a 3D object. As like in my house design in posts above, I layed out my floorplan, then pulled it into a 3D object where I can use the section plane to see my floor plan from the above view.
