Yes I do, but that isn't the problem. The bot connects and spawns fine. The npcmode script just doesn't do anything.

OnNPCEnterVehicle - not called
OnNPCConnect - not called
main() (in the npcmode script) - not called

So I have a feeling that NOTHING from the bot source is getting executed.
