Be more specific about the specs you want and I might be able to help you.

Yes, if you want to get an oversold VPS.

For your price range, I'd go for spry.com. You could try ValueVPS in the UK as well.
http://www.vps.net/ is pretty good aswell.

If you're looking for cheaper prices, you could try this: http://www.gigevps.net/vps.php

Hi, erm.. For the sake of it, lets say, a VPS that will be able to handle 100 players on 24/7, seven days a week for a month... (again, just for the sake of it.)

Thanks

What makes you say they oversell?

Thanks, I tried VPS.net but they seem to overkill on things you don't need, and underprovide on CPU when I select a package right for me. I'll take into note gigevps, they seem very cheap. ValueVPS is a little out of my budget.

I'm more after a supplier that will allow me to select the specs I want. Anything like that out there, on the cheap?

serverFFS also have 24/7 support, but their support sucks anyways.
(Point is that just because you've got 24/7 support It doesn't mean It's good)

Hostgator is out of budget, so I wouldn't consider it anyway. [level 5 = $100]

Their service sucks, I don't care what their statistics are. Like "Mike Garber" said, just because they have 24/7 phone and chat support, it doesn't mean jack squat.

VPSLAND has to be one of the worst VPS suppliers that I've ever come across.

My recommendation would have been to try out valueVPS, but recently their service has become extremely horrible.

Take a look here. For the money you're expecting to pay, I pay $6 less and I have a Dedicated Server (with a provider listed on WHT) with moderately okay specs.

I don't think this is too bad... They don't seem to be overselling. I think I might even give them a shot.

Just so I know, how much bandwidth would I need to run a full 100 player-slot server everyday, all day for a month? What about if I added a forum, blog and a website?

KickAssVPS is recommended. Been hosting my server with 80+ players online daily, lag-free, with good specifications.

To visit their website, please visit: http://kickassvps.com/

I ******d around and you need 40kbit per player, per second. So thats around 1.5TB per month? (thats of course if your asking for just "slots" or actual players being online 24/7)

Below is the total bandwitdh needed to run a 200 "player" server, 24/7 7 days a week, for 1 month:

15MBps x 60 seconds x 1440 minutes(/day) x 31 days = 4.01TB's

So half of this, would be around upto 2TB's, depending on the GM.

Thanks for the tip on ValueVPS. I'll bare that in mind.
