VPS 512 MB ram - 1ghz proccesor
#1

Hello,

I'm wandering about ordering an VPS, at BurstNET, is it powerfull enough, for an small starting server? When it's growing I can always upgrade to an stronger server.

Anybody has any experience with BurstNET?

It doesn't have any swap.
CPU: 1GHZ, RAM: 512MB, DISKSPACE: 20GB, BANDWIDTH: 1000GB/MONTH

OS is going to be Debian.

Also I was wandering about Storm host? Is it good?

Yours Faithfully,

Bas

It's enough for a SA-MP server.

It actually depends on how much resources your server uses.

As Karlip was saying, it depends on the resources, if your script is too big and isnt really optimized, that might start up an problem lag wise.

Samp server doesn't use much anyway .. its more the system the server is running, but debian should run fine with 512 mb.

BurstNet is awful, I would shy away from them if I were you. Their connectivity is poor and I've received alot of downtime with them (for a personal VPS aswell, 1024mb)

I heard http://cheapvps.co.uk/ is good.

btw, ServerFFS offers vps, they have a lot of sa-mp clients, so they might be better on the support part.

But, i haven't tested either of these, due to the fact i'm poor.
