Hi every one im after some advice i had my website hacked by my old webmaster and he threated to hack my server host account now as well what would be the best action to take?

Your site got attacked by a shell script, just delete the index.html or index.php
Change your password for your server host account
Fix up any security exploits in your web app's if you know how, or update to the latest version

Uh no, its just a php script which you upload and it swaps out the old index file with a new one.. pretty simple to write it, you just have to find an exploit as to where to upload it, for example an uploader thats not properly closed off... and then run the script

well ive got a official proof of the ip now as my host said it had been hacked (well derrr lol) and got his ip.

I've checked our FTP log and found that your account has been hacked from the following IP: 77.98.221.112
Please show me your WAN IP ( http://whatismyip.com ) so I'll block all different IP's and add them to the black list.
