Hello!
I recently had a audioloss.

I went into my audio prefrences, and changed the configuration of the speakers to stereo instead of 5.1 speakers / 7.1 speakers.

if that don't help, go to START>RUN>dxdiag>click SOUNDS>slider to basic acceleration.
