how much ram does a samp server take?

This depends on your gamemode, SA-MP running grandlarc only needs 3 or 4 mb as far as I know.

My gamemode using mysql and is ~25 000 lines using ~40MB of RAM at start. After some time it uses 100+ or even 200+ MB of ram, because of bugged MySQL plugin.

Dont go with anything below 512mb, just too have good headspace with your vps. From personal experience the average samp servers i have hosted have used between 100-150 mb of ram.

Well my friend and i are going to pay the half price each!

And we will get 1gb ram, so i guess we will be okey

We will buy our from serverffs! I found a good one last night ^^ that wasnt from serverffs, but they tricked me! only was 10mb ram lol
