I've had this problem only on this PC (Windows 10, GT 530, 8 GB ram), and it has been annoying me for the past year. Whenever I alt+tab, it turns into a black screen for about 2 seconds, then switches. No big deal. I just changed the resolution of GTA to match my monitor's resolution. Now, when I go back in to gta, It's much longer. If I were to just open it and alt+tab, it would usually take 1-3 seconds. If I'm in the game for 25 minutes, it takes about 45-60 seconds to open. It takes longer and longer. I tried all the tricks (compatibility, shortcut, etc). If anyone has one, PLEASE tell me! It get's extremely annoying when I want to check my email/Discord while I'm in the game. It's better to just /q then rejoin.

I tried all of those solutions, none of which worked. That's why I'm posting this.

If what niCe said above didn't work for you, which is weird, have you tried installing SA-MP addon? It contains tons of SA-MP bug and crash fixes.

I just tried that, still the same issue, if not worse.
