How to see the custom models in map editor

Hello Guys,

I add the custom models in custom.img but i don't now where i select this object.

Pretty sure it's a matter of scripting the ability to use them IG using CreateObject and EditObject, adding them to custom.img is not a way.

I think you can only use them with in-game editors.

If you're speaking about JernejL's map editor, I think you need to add objects to samp.ide, samp.img. Then you can use them in the editor.

I haven't tested it out myself, so I can't attest to this.

Yea it's possible. But it requires a slightly different format.

- The IDs are different so you'll need to convert them back and forth
- Attached collision data may not be accepted in the Editor, so you'll need to use the original models and seperate col files like GTA SA does

Either way, it's much easier to use them in an IG editor. You'll only need to adjust model id checks and everythign related to it.
