Should I make a Mapping Guide?

There's already a perfect introduction (or guide) provided in the original Texture Studio thread over at https://sampforum.blast.hk/showthread.php?tid=582490

More resources won't hurt, would they? It's always good for starters to have multiple tutorials and opinions to learn from.

You OBVIOUSLY need the guy's guide since you don't even know how this works,
about the whole mapping thing, that's totally your opinion lol, but from the past statement u made i doubt you even saw the guy's mappings!
I know exactly what I'm talking about. It doesn't matter if texture studio is ingame or not, its not a map editor. Its separate. So you would have to make a map and then use texture studio to apply textures to it, only to find out something in the map does not go together with how the textures are only to have to re-map everything. Not very convenient is it?

As for the mapping, did you really just assume that I made a remark about his maps without actually seeing them first? okay den lol

Actually you can map in game and immediatly use texturen into it and if im right even make a group for instance the walls get texture X. Only its a bit hard to understand but we got that with everything once we get the hang of it itll be easy just like the map editor you’re using Would be hard for us to understand

There's no single line in the thread which explains the basics of mapping, texture usage and stuff.

Mate, don't talk about it if you have no idea how texture studio works. It is map editor.

If you want more people to ask for a tutorial then tell them to practice. You can't really master anything if you don't learn it by yourself as well.

It will be good making it, And to remember and make people learn things to how to copy x,y,z and about textures of reflections etc, Also you can show players about several bugs and crashes and how to fix it, good luck, you should make one.

Didn't want y'all to bitch about it after I make it. So better ask in advance. And yes I'll make it tomorrow or the day after.

Not once in my 10 years on SA-MP and 'round 100 pages of tutorials have I seen anyone bitch about somebody making a tutorial, so if that's the reason you made this thread, this just became a whole lot more retarded.

[Twixx] has a point here, man.

If you have an idea about a tutorial that could actually result in better mappers that would contribute to the community, you shouldn't ask anyone if you should do it or not. Because at the end of the day, you have nothing to lose but time you're willing to give in the 1st place. Even if no one ends up appreciating your tutorial (highly unlikely), you gain experience for this and you can move forward no matter what.

Given the fact that this is a tutorial, it should have whatever you think anyone needs to get started with Texture Studio. Basic commands and functions, demonstrations, common mistakes that you think people should avoid, maybe a bit of design tips (i see a lot of maps with objects that are inconsistent with the map's purpose), and lots more.

If there are a bunch of you that really want to make a good tutorial, you should gather up and discuss everything.
Put your entire experience on the table and figure out a way for people to learn from it.

So, What's your opinion Uproar, you're gonna make one? I'll be pleased if you make one.
