It tackles with bullying in schools, which is a very serious subject.

Yea, Walking Dead did go slow for a while, so much so that my mate stopped watching this season, waiting for the end of it so he can binge-watch the lot.
It has started picking up some pace currently, but it still needs some time to get back to normal.
