There is actually a lot that I don't know, but I know ranges are one feature I needed and now have. Emmet it supposed to be releasing 3.0 and documenting it.

I think Emmet_ has quit SA-MP (check out his profile) - I think someone should handle this plugin as it's significant for many servers!

Well, Emmet_ was a great member. Good luck to him.

I'll look into compiling and releasing it, but I still don't know all of the features. If I find anything interesting I'll be sure to mention it.

EDIT: OK, so in the 'players' file there is a bit of missing code. And in the 'string-specifier' file there is something called 'm_size' missing. Perhaps Emmet_ has some insight on these before I fuck it all up...?

Emmet_ doesn't own sscanf. It's a public thing left to be developed by the community. The smart thing to do would be to open a PR on GitHub.

Argh, people are just leaving..

There's a small bug with the 2.8.2 edition of the sscanf2.inc (using Zeex's compiler).

Here is the fixed include. The issue was he changed _samp_included to _inc_a_samp. It should've stayed as _samp_included.

This is only viable if you use Zeex's compiler AFAIK. https://github.com/Zeex/pawn/wiki/Wh...include-guards.

Because some people think deleting their repositories, which contain projects used by hundreds, if not thousands of people, is some kind of funny or trendy thing, I've created yet another GitHub repository here: https://github.com/maddinat0r/sscanf

I will not start to continue developing sscanf (especially sscanf 3), and I certainly won't delete this repository. However, if minor things or some kind of bugs occur, I'll take care of them.

I'll compile and release the binaries on the GitHub page soon.

If you are serious about maintaining the plugin just make a copy of this thread. It makes a lot more sense than updating it through posts that many people will never see.

If you aren't serious about it or you might not be available at times you are needed (though you claim you will be) just continue posting these...

And please see issue 1 in your repo... Obvious mistake... :/

Yes, I take responsibility for this plugin, simply because no one other is. Don't you think it's better that way? Or do you rather prefer a (twice!) abandoned project with no valid download links floating around?

I'll of course have to create a new thread, those links on the first post won't update by themselves.

I quoted "obvious", because it's not obvious to me at all. You just keep on saying about obvious mistakes and disadvantages without going into detail, so there's no chance for me to understand and comprehend them at all.
