Strange issue

Alright so this is the first time Im getting this problem.
Basically I have been testing some stuff and everything was okay and such and after I logged out, all of the sudden I see maybe 10% servers online and nothing else.

I usualy see servers that are hosted in EU and RU, nothing else. My buddies see everything properly but preety much Im getting 80-90% of the servers in Hosted and internet list filtered out, meaning I simply dont see them.
I tried pinging their IP addresses and works just fine

Note: I cant even see my own server in localhost:7777, and my friends cant see it either with the correct IP but when I upload my server onto the TC admin, everyone can see it without a problem


UPDATE: I have connected using my VPN and I can see everything... any solutions?

Otherwise it's a firewall/portforwarding/routing issue. If you can't see it internally, and it's in your favorites, then your problem is in your network.

Can you not read what was actually posted?

After all you pointed to the thread that it was in........



What I also refer to is local network issues, causing problems. If he can't see it on the localhost, then there's a serious issue, that may not be related at all to SAMP, or the issue you so quickly linked to.

No you dont understand, first of all that video thingie, its not whats happening to me. I see all servers but they are simply not retrieving any informations from it, its like every server is offline and this happens with only US hosted servers.

I can for example see International Trucking, some server Belite server etc. etc.

I can still ping US server IP's without a problem and log onto websites and everything but I cant simply connect to any of them without a VPN.

If I was to open Internet List now, I would get around 60-70 servers only, same as hosted tab list.

I tried disabling Anti Malware, avg, firewall, everything. I even checked my IP port forwarding and Its set to 7777 etc. But I still cannot access 90% of SA:MP servers.

My own wi fi yes. Why?

Altho I have been using this method for around 2 years and havent had a problem

Yep, Wifi isn't reliable man... Sorry...

Even though you've used it for 2 years, hardware degrades, and wifi is never a constant connection. It has interference, and it'll drop packets which can lead to this.

VPN works because the connection is designed to be tollerable of the faults.



One option maybe to manually set the channels of the wifi, another is to connect via a cable to the main router.

Someone could've got a new cordless phone for Christmas and now, because that's around, there could be interference. (Any number of things can cause interference, but this is just an example).

Another is to try a lower grade wifi standard. Say wifi B or G, rather than N.




Try though with a cable first if you can.

I have seen this cause troubles in many areas, hence why I asked if you were using wifi, because I knew this could be a factor in erratic, and irregular crap.
