I really don't understand how people think. Why would anyone script a GM from scratch just to get a CO-Owner rank from the script? Why not make it yourself and be your own owner! I only think money or perhaps a service in return will be enough for an authentic scripter to do something like this. What's your thoughts on this, would you ever script a GM from scratch just to receive CO-Owner?
I personally would not mind to give someone a CO-Owner rank if the person in question would work just as hard as me on the project and really contribute to the project. Like if I'm scripting and this CO-Owner takes care of the server bills, web-hosting and mapping. That's fair. Probably because those people can't script, yet they have a website, forum, (web)host and such.

Well if you'll go with that route, it would be best to just pay scripters off..

Well on the other side it's fair if the owner pays for server and main financial side of things and you're scripting for another ownership, it's a basic partnership formation.

Well some people want to build up something from the ground and are happy to participate in a project. I know what I'm talking about since I scripted for a community for over 3 years without receiving any reward you mention. (money, or something money-related) I was perfectly happy with that and I would do it all over. I don't really see it as a one-way track. You help building a community in which you can have a great time, and that's the best reward ever.
Not everything is about money you know.

I think it depends in the situation.
Imagine you and a friend want to start a server. Your friend is paying the bills, uploads the forums and wants to be the final man in charge. Meanwhile you are making sure the server is having a good script, and you'll be the second man in charge. In that way it'll work I think.
On the other hand, "im hav server pls make me skrept then u b co-owner" is rather silly in my eyes.
Personally I would not script just to get "co-owner" on a server. I'd either do it for money or when I play the server already and I want to help them out.
