The consoles should be left alone for a couple more years. I mean, if you can put GTA V technology into the current gen consoles, WHY make and release a new console. It better be able to play PS3 games or it'll piss off a lot of people.

Looks cool, but im sure the ps4 has newer graphics capability, cuz frostbite 2 is the best xbox360 ps3 could go. Hopefully they will develope realistic looking games soon!

Until Sony actually states and gives pictures of the next Playstation console, I'm not going to believe anything I read or see.

I mean go take a look at what people are saying about the "Microsoft Xbox 720". Better yet, go see what people think it might look like. It makes me LOL.

Exactly. The specifications for the game on PC will probably be sky high, but yet they manage to run it on six year old hardware.

Because it's a way to make more money for the company.
It will probably slightly improve some graphical settings but nothing major.

Well the hardware in consoles is put together to accomedate the games and therefor should run perfectly. The requirements on PC games is just an indication and with a bit of tweaking you can easily run games that - according to the requirements can't be played.

Let alone the fact console games usally play on much lower resolution textures, little to no anti-alias and only (usally, barely) 30 FPS, in the competetive PC gaming world they want atleast 60 FPS.

On topic: I do very much like to see the next generation consoles, there are a lot of great things coming with new technologies being developed so frequently, the old hardware is just not powerfull enough to compute everything that gamedevelopers want. (look at some of the latest games, they're significantly downgraded on consoles).

That wikipedia page is obviously an essay and not an official page, it'd be ignorant to believe everything it says but the Playstation 4 has been officially announced for years so I wouldn't be suprised if the majority is true.

That's because they tweak the settings to run at 720p (1280x720 which is pretty low). While on the PC, you can manually tweak the resolution.

Anyways, I hope this is real, and they up the max resolution in their next console. I was disappointed to find out that alot of PS3 games run at a max resolution of 720p. (720p looks like shit on a 1080p display)

Actually, most games on both the XBOX 360 and Playstation 3 run at a native resolution lower than 1280 by 720, but are upscaled.

And, even though Sony is a stubborn fool, I wouldn't expect too much of a jump in power form the new Playstation.

Because both software and hardwae sales are falling. This has been the longest generation in quite some time.
