Alright, I know that I'm being a bit lazy by asking these questions; but I was pretty much wondering if SA-MP is compatible with Microsoft Windows 8.
I just received a laptop with Windows 8 installed on it, and I would love to play SA-MP on it and GTA-SA, but I'm not sure if I can install them on this computer, I will check it out on other websites and stuff, but as for now. I will continue to play it on my Windows 7 PC.

If you already know the answers to these questions, would you please post them below.

You will be able to install them and run the games perfectly, I don't have any problems with Windows 8 whatsoever

It runs even more smooth and eats less resurces on 8 than 7.

That's good to know. I just received an Acer Aspire laptop for Christmas, and it works well with Windows 8. I'm yet to try SA-MP and GTA SA. I'll get back to you!

These are my specs (Aspire):

AMD Dual-Core Processor E2-1800 (1.7GHz)
AMD Radeon HD 7340 with 384mb Graphics Memory System
6gb DDR3 RAM

I think that's enough to run GTA SA, right? Geez...

It works for me! I use it for coding and schoolwork. It goes to school with me every day. I also have a desktop that is only a bit better than my laptop and I can run GTA IV on it (the desktop). Though I doubt I can play it on my laptop, I'm pretty sure I can run Half Life 2, Black Mesa and Garry's Mod with 25-30~ fps.

They can actually, i've played on an aspire and it runs just as smooth as an alienware
