hello guyz i have a host and its FTP and its my first time to use FTP can anyone teach me?
the host emailed me says

To start the server press Enter 3x times, and choose 1st item in the list.
To restart, choose 2nd item, and to stop - 3rd.

i dont understand and dont know how to do it can anyone help me pls?

What kind of host gives that kind of cryptic information?

You need to know the hostname, username and password as well as the port of your host. You can then connect to FTP. FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol and should be used for transfering files only. Your host should be able to provide you with a Control Panel or else I'd suggest to change host. Good luck!
