Alright folks I need some help and maybe someone of you might help me.
So theres that server from my signature and we have a lot of custom islands/objects out on the sea. We have a user-made modification which displays the custom island objects within the 6000x6000 boundaries on the player's minimap (downloadable minimap modification). Now what I wanna do is I want to create a custom map for the forum which shows the complete island system with it's objects out on the sea. The question here is - how would I do that?
I could fly around the islands with camhack and take photos so i just have to cut them together, but this would take a lot of time taking the pictures / cutting.
But then I thought about this: some of you might know the Detailed Radar Mod created by BaygoN. For this he used the MapViewer made by Steve M. The problem is that this program uses the default GTA:SA objects and it doesn't include any serversided objects (even if i am ingame).
Maybe how about adding the objects to JernejL's map editor and then take screenshots? But the details quiality are not so good :S.
