A Advanced Wireless PCI Adapter for PC? I am thinking as sometimes it is when a lan is destroyed and you can use wireless to connect until you get new lan cable?

Any good manufactures for it? like D-LINK or TP-Link

Ethernet cables: £1
Wireless adapters: £30

What's the point in wasting so much money on a pointless card that a wire can replace? The question does seem pretty much pointless...

I always use ethernet for desktops. Why do you need a wireless if you don't have a laptop and anyways every laptops that i know got one.

I use wireless, I find it a lot easier and less of a pain in the long run.

An ethernet cable is less trouble really though isn't it.. no connection drops, setup etc it's plug and go mostly.

cable is way better my laptop has wifi but i still use a cable with it for many reasons

like when i restart me router the computer is still connected to it and can see the result, but with wifi the connection drops.

and make port forwards easier + network sharing is faster.
