Help me please

Hey yall, I'm having some trouble with my gta, and I didn't know what place to post it, so meh xD

Aight first of all single player:

I will load up single player, it will let me use my computer mouse etc (moving the cursor) but when I click to select the option, it just does nothing. So I end up pressing enter on it and it works. Then when I go on the game itself it doesn't let me control the camera movement. Nothing is wrong with the controls, I restored defaults etc and altered them but it still doesn't move etc. I tried to run as administrator, tried to download one (my normal one is legit) but still nothing

Second on SAMP:

It's predominantly the same thing, I will load up samp and it WILL let me rotate the camera and do regular stuff, but if I pause it or alt tab etc it will just freeze the camera and I can't move it about.

In both these problems I can move my guy but just not the camera

Any help is appriciated

Thanks so much.

try setting the processor priority to 1 or 2 processors/cores(CTRL+ALT+DEL, open task manager, Processes Tab, gta_sa.exe, rightclick, set affinity and then set it to 1 or 2 cpus)

if you only have 2 just set it to only 1.

You're a fucking genious man, thanks so much!

But one problem, it works occasionally now, sometimes if I pause it it's back to where I was to begin with. I've also yet to see the camera moving but occasionally the mouse still works.

Thanks again

I've had this problem too, but if I paused again (or sometimes I had to do it multiple times), the mouse started working again...You probably have the same.

I've heard it has something to do with the Win7 (maybe Vista too) Aero feature being enabled. Disable it by changing theme to some classic windows.

Anyhow that's what I read somewhere and it worked, but seriously, I didn't buy a new comp to work with a Win 2000 look >.> So I fixed it (I guess, didn't play much SA anymore) by setting compatibility to Win 98/Win ME
