"Real" Minecraft in SA-MP?
#1

Hello guys, Once again, another weird idea in my mind.

I'll convert minecraft objects and stuff to SAMP, it will be a mod pack.
A little change: Create Minecraft like objects because I don't have permissions to copy them.

And you will be able to place blocks on the map (in gta) in correct positions (Just like Minecraft)

What do you think about the idea? ^_^

Note: It will take a long freakin time doing everything.

Test video:

Future improvements/plans/features:
- Real time build system.
- Pickaxe like tools.
- Skinned Character.

Much more!

If there won't be any object limit, I guess that will be awesome!

I'm wondering how you're going to do it, should you decide to do it.

It won't work out like you think it'll, your gonna have problems with limitations not to mention the fact GTA is not the kind of game to do something like this at all.

While I was out with friends I was thinking of this. However, making the blocks equaly seperated would be hard.

Throw me in the project, I want to participate

Model a small grass block and we could work on it

Nice. I'll add you.

I'm thinking something similar to floatround method.
So, when we place an object somewhere, it will automatically place itself on a 'block/unit'.

And all blocks will be EXACTLY same size.

I'll make some examples and show ya.

I've thought of it being that way except. The player uses a remodeled baseball bat (will turn into a pickaxe!) and the spade can be used for digging

Would be cool if you made some sort of timer so, instead of placing grass block's, you place dirt blocks that after 30 or so seconds turn into grass. Just to make it more interesting . Thinking about it, that could get a bit crowded.

i like the idea! players in a doublesided MC style house? awesome :P
can you tell me which programs you are using to create the models? iam sure there are some hidden talents in some users here, a simple way to get startet will be much appreciated :P
if those object collection is done, it should be part of the .img file, they wont take that much space like 1 single playerskin does, even if there are 40 types of objects (different sizes, some textures)

I'm getting a friend to upload a video of my self made version :P

I just stole IPLEO's cube nothing else. It uses trigonometrical functions.

In about 20 minutes should be done. It's what i've completed in 20 minutes. I'm working on bugs and lag fixes. However, the streamer plugin bugs it D:
