I'm thinking of creating a strict roleplay server.
I got myself a script; NOT MEDIUM, FUCK MEDIUM / LIGHT ROLEPLAY.
Anyone intersted ?

Yes please.

Just make sure your admin team isn't a bunch of 12 year olds. Then I'll join.

It's a strict roleplay, maybe admin per 10 players.

That's what I mean, PhoenixB.
Only problem that I cannot afford hosting, but if I could get a donation, then I could.
So, untill I'll get $10 by a donation or somehow from internet, it'll be on samp4free.com :\.

If you can elaborate a little further on your desired project then I'm sure you might have a few willing investors.

Give us more detail on the script you plan on using.

It's a PR-RP script, mapping is added, etc, bugs fixed, my edits.

I doubt many people will be interested in playing on a server that's running an overused script. But you may have changed a lot, I don't know. Maybe try something a little different, then try getting people to donate. Nothing personal, just telling it like it is. Good luck, though.

Oh look, another fucking failure RP server using another shitty script. Why don't you make something yourself, instead of being like the 2000 other SHIT servers.

Warning. WALL O TEXT

As for the question: One that's fun to play on.

Yes. FUN. Because, and I'm not singling out the OP here, too many RP servers in SAMP are too limited, they are all 'you can't do this unless you're in factions X Y or Z'. Or they are too loose, as in easy access to guns, and not enough rule enforcement, so you get DM'd and nothing gets done.

Or, and this is my pet peeve, they (again, not singling out the OP here), use a ready downloaded script from the SAMP forums, edit the name and one line of text, and call it their own. I'm sorry, but NO. Just because somebody uses (let say) Ravens or a GF download, changes one line, and the name, does not mean they coded it.

Pet peeve #2. 'light', 'medium' and 'heavy' RP. Seriously, what the F? Since when did RP get split into categories? Light RP usually means a DM fest, heavy RP means you can't even move without being banned and medium's in the middle. To be blunt, the categories NEED TO GO. Why exactly has the SAMP RP community fractured into the categories? I'll cite a server I used to play on (-cough-Redgiesjokeserver-cough-), where any suggestion to improve RP immediately brought cries of 'HEAVY RP FAAAAAAAAG' or 'LSRP FAAAAAAAG F**K OFF TO LS RP' (actual replies to any decent suggestion). That to me seems pretty stupid, if you want to RP, RP., why should you have to put up with people whining about 'omg fuel is too rp' or the always famous 'dual guns r non rp' whiners.

Additionally, SAMP is limited in how you can RP, in terms of it's not a base game built for RPing (despite what people have said), it's at best a mod that can, with the right scripting, do a lot of things. But people always seem to fall into the same old rut. Base it in LS, have gangs and cops, and then wonder why it's empty.

I am disappoint.

Our script is going well so far isn't it? And from most of the things we are implementing, I haven't come across any major limitations.
