Hi,
I'm new to hosting SAMP server (I'm going to host it on linux centos or debian) so I need to ask some questions.

1. Is it possible to start samp server with parameters for example ./samp03srv -maxplayers 100 -fps_max 500 -port 7778 and other parameters.
2. Please give me the list of all paramteres.
3. How can I configure it to work with Swift Panel? Has anybody tried it before? I need to know how to start it exactly.
4. What Mods Are mostly played?
5. What is the maximum number of players server can have?

Thanks for fast reply PeteShag, I've already seen that page, but I'm not sure if I can start the server with paramters can you give me an example for that like for hlds server hlds_run -game cstrike -port 27015 +maxplayers 32 etc.
Is it possible to start it like that?
As for the Swift Panel I don't have the game template so I need to make one and I don't know what exactly I should configure (I don't know the startup parameters)

When I start the server under windows with these parameters

samp-server -port 7778 -maxplayers 100

It executes the server.cfg and I get the server for 500 players on port 7777 but I don't want to use the server.cfg for port and maxplayers I want to set them via Command Line. Is that possible somehow?

No it's not, well unless you edit the samp03srv file.
By default it loads server.cfg and nobody found a way to bypass it yet ( i think so atleast )
You cant match SA:MP with CoD4, HL1, or HL2.
Oh by the way, i can give a hand with SwiftPanel.
