i need a new laptop that really good for gaming. the laptop im using is a piece-o-sh1t 5000 its ok but sucks doo doo. the price range im looking for is around a $1000 dollar. can anyone give me some advice of ideas of what laptop i shoulf be looking for. thanks

well really u shouldn`t` use a laptop for gaming its very complicated...should use a Desktop.

That is an opinion, not a statement of fact. Laptops do indeed make decent gaming machines if buy the right stuff and spend enough money.

Get the fastest processor and the most memory for the money. You will also want to consider the graphics card since you will be gaming with it.

Laptops don't really run good with games, but some do run pretty good, depending on how much RAM, how good the processor and such it uses. Use a desktop. (If money permits) Buy an alienware computer.

Desktops are always better for gaming, no matter how well a laptop is running a game, a desktop for the same price will always run it better. (If you're not an idiot when buying the desktop).

The heat produced by real gaming hardware can never be dealt with in a laptop, thus why he should get a desktop for gaming. More hardware for less money.
