I've been hosting a server quite a while now on hamachi and when I tried to get it off hamachi to use my wan ip, it stuck at retrieving info.


1. I looked in server.cfg to check the port
2. I opened CMD, did ipconfig, and got my IPv4 address
3. I went to 192.168.1.1 and forwarded the port 3700 to both TCP and UDP
4. I started the server and in favorites I put in wanip:3700
5. It stuck at retrieving info


I have already turned my firewall off and added samp-server to exceptions.

Don't you mean 127.0.0.1? And do I need to add that as well as my IPort? And also, 127.0.0.1ort or just 127.0.0.1?

U must forward only UDP.

Just a hint, you can't connect to your own server using the WAN IP. Only other people can. You have to use your local IP.

Place the IP here, and i guess if you actually leave it on, someone could see it online (counting on it being setup properly).

I changed it to just UDP and my friend tried it but it didn't work.

Is your "friend" in another country? Or the same as you?

You can forward TCP as well even though it makes no difference.
