Hi,
Well, I've got a domain, and I want to point it to my server IP. When I do that using A records, its points to the default port 7777. How do I get it to point to my custom port(which is 7786)?

You cannot, the SA-MP browser simply assumes the server is on port 7777 if the IP/domain has been added without the port. You need to add the port to the domain in order for it to work when adding it to favourites, like so:

server.yourdomain.com:7786

You can't.

If you have samp.domain.tdl and enter it in the SAMP client.

It will go to the default port.

Nothing you can do but get a 7777 port or enter the port you have at the end of your domain.
