to handle ban evaders, something must be done via-sa-mp software wise.
Just in a few days alone , i have over 140 bans, at least 50% was for hack reasons,
this is too much to handle. ITS TOO MUCH. My server alone in 3 months gets over a 200K unique ips,
thats impossible, the ammount of players on samp could be from 2K to 6K, so these evaders are too much.
Some thing must be done about this, and also implementing something on sa-mp, that the only way evading it is reinstalling your o/s system can fix, is the day i am a happy person.
The problem is, there isn't enough Server owners complaining about this, my server is small, running for the past 3-4-5 years, and its a contant problems, i cant imagine servers over 100, 200, 300 would feel.
And range ban is something of a problem, because allot of players get/are affected
I love sa-mp, not discrediting them, just something new must be added on the security-sanity-side.

I don't understand why everyone is looking for a way to ban people in multiple different ways. The current way works perfectly, we don't need other crap to deal with! If you are going to run a server, know how to code correctly, know how to be professional, know how to work with what you have and of course; hire a good administration team. Stop whining, it's getting annoying.

Some server hosts also offer the ability to completely ban certain IP's and proxy's (depending on the server host)...

There won't ever be an effective way to ban players.
And don't worry about IPv6, yet. It will take sometime until it definitly starts being used.
Now everyone can get ranges of /64 ( about 18 billion IPs )
