Ive never actually found out and idk anything about these apart from it is a GM but why does everybody hate GF & GF edits?? and what is it?

Because they're used so much and most haters are just jealous because their script isn't as succesful.

But look at the point SaW brought up. If your script was used by every beginner and had 30k+ responses and three threads opened for it, how bad-ass would you feel?

Because most of the people make "edits" of GF, but they just change something really simple. SAMP forum is full of 100000000000s GF "edits" that are all the same.

It's a big RolePlay gamemode created somewhere around 2006/2007 for SA:MP 0.1b, basically an edit from the gamemode "PEN" (Public Enemy No. 1).

A lot of people hate it because there are like over 9000 servers running all the same gamemodes, each one claiming to have the best one.
mostly by 12-year old kids and they edit like 1 line and say ''OMG PLS JOIN SERVOR 127.0.0.1 BEST! FIRST 5 GET FREE ADMIN!''
And if that's not enough, they spam the forum with things like ''HOW DO I REMOVE LICENSE SISTUM ON GF PLS OMG NOW THNX''.

i see nothing wrong with them if you edit them alot, but if you're just going to download it then host it(same with any GM) thats whats annoys most.

It's very old and the scripting methods are outdated and unoptimized, but a lot of new scripters that learn from it and they learn incorrect practices.

Because new scripters download and edit them in like 50 lines and then host them thinking they have the best server ever, and im pretty upset since the players that join that can just come to an original server and show a real scripter how hes work is paying off.

A 12 years would actually be a decent scripter, I know I was. Your quote actually reminds me on when I was 9 years old and made my first runescape private server.
