Fist of all, you do care. It's better to admit that than to try and deny it.
But anyway, you obviously have no idea how that happened. So let me explain.
Back in the day when we didn't have negative
rep yet, people would come here, beg for
rep, and actually get it. Then they could make a shitty advertisement for a server not staying open for more than 2 weeks, only to be never seen again. Great attributes to the community, right? It seems the mods agreed with me, because later on the people begging winded up getting banned.
Some time later, we got the feature everyone's crying about for some reason: negative
rep. To me, this was the ultimate defense versus those people who come here just to make an advertisement, and doing nothing for the community in return. Seems I wasn't the only one, because the people who were begging now ended up with +/- -10
rep, instead of 5.
This particular guy, however. wasn't too happy with the fact that he had -10
rep points when he begged for them in a topic. In fact, he was so angry, that he started to insult and flame
the entire community, and everyone in it. Newton's action-reaction law predicted that this wouldn't end well, and it didn't.
So no, this dude wasn't the victim, it isn't sad he ended up with -100
rep. He was a disgrace to the community, and deserved to be treated like on.
