Like I said several days ago, a new version is released now:

Final 1.0 → 1.1:
- Easier to use
- Fixed many bugs (heavily tested it with large scripts (90k lines), found many bugs and fixed all of them)
- GUI
- faster, improved most of the code

And remember that the new version still needs an installation of perl.

Hello,

Could you replace the "missing brackets finder.exe" with the one you can find in this archive?:
http://www.jeffersongta.de/downloads/brackets_mingw.zip

It is a recompiled version (with MingW instead of the VC C++ compiler).

If it still doesn\'t work, do you have the latest .net framework installed? (I tested it on another computer with .net and it also worked there)

If you have the latest .net framework installed and the new .exe also didn\'t help, tell it me.

Then I would create an alternative version with perl included. And maybe the included version works better for you.

EDIT: if anyone downloaded the file above before I added this edit: redownload

Thank you. Its working and i checked my 83000 lines script, it says that are 4 brackets missing but when i check the line, everything is fine... BTW, i\'m using this because i\'m getting 26 errors with the same error number(004).
I ****** it, and found that it could be caused by a unclosed bracket.
Anyways good work!

Hello,

Are you able to find to missing bracket if you look after it near the area where it was reported(a function, ..)?

I hope that Iam able to reproduce this problem while Iam doing some more further tests, although I really tested this script detailed.

Could you re download the brackets.zip? I recompiled the "missing brackets finder.exe" to ban .net dependencies.

The reason could be a missing installation of the latest .net. But with the new .exe it should also work fine without it.

The first one, where it says "Windows (x86)" and "5.12.3.1204"

It doesn\'t matter. Just unzip the brackets.zip and open the .exe. In the application you can open your script with a file dialog.

After you installed perl, it should work without that error.

This would be better if you wouldn\'t have to install other programs, but good job.

It looks nice, but about \'click on the x86\': Not for me. I have a x64 system. So if I was a noob, I would have installed the wrong one now.
