Hello, yesterday I bought a slot in the Hosted List, but its mostly bringing in 2-5 users at a time, and then they leave, and now theres no one on.. plus, most of the people who join don't even speak english.

How can I get my server more popular, more users, etc?

Post in this board, advertise it on some gaming sites or so.

Just be active on your server, play alot, even if it is yourself, and over time you will start getting randoms, and randoms bring more randoms ect, and the hosted list should bring in more,

1.Make your own site,community...
2.Call your friends to play on the server because when players see that someone is playing on your server they will come.I got filled out my server with 12 players this way.
3.When you make a community make some random messages in your script like "Our forum url is....... "

well heres a tip worked for me

1-bring 3 or 4 players from other servers somehow(tell them to test the server or see if ti works)
2-then keep talking to them while they are on your server
3-make a trusted friendship with them
4-assign them as a lowest lvl admins,
5-tell them to bring their friends and advertise and keep your server active
6- the more player they got the higher rank you give them everyday

after that when you have like 8 people on your server, get to know them well and offer them to create a gang or a brotherhood,

well actually post in advertisement section and post alot like give lots of info and make sure your server is fully ready for playing, than you know that you can get members, also you can advertise on *******

Best Thing to do, is to be yourself be a good guy as a lead admin have a good active scripter, and be active yourself.

Always be willing to help out when your on, have some helpful and strict people as admin that make sure players follow the rules.

Might start off low, but after players start seeing you won't give up on it no matter what, and you'll just keeping trying the best you can you'll see improvements, but trust me advertising on other servers wont help you at all, most people at other servers are stuck playing there they like it. so you spamming them someway, will just get i bet one of them to go hack at your server while no admins online and such.

Ive had a player from my server do it, and the owner of other server complain at me, and its not much i can do if player isnt hacking at my server, than isnt my fault if his players or "him himself" come to my server, advertising his.

But yeah as i would get back on track, just stay true to the server, put alot of your work in and get a scripter like that. never give up, no matter how bad you feel.

Also be creative to about what you script, don't just script the same old same old as every other server, put something new, something people will "wow" at, and wanna keep playing you know to have fun with it.

Also you need a good host for sure, and if you do start to get over 30 players you can aspect some "fags" to start ddosing your server for fun or something, so best have a good server host i would suggest serverFFS as i always do, as they helped me to the top.
