Hello. I have a friend with a problem attempting to run the multiplayer. My friend owns an official CD copy. I own a Direct downloaded version. (Let's not get into that) anyway, my friend is unable to run SA:MP. He can get into the server list, but it executes SP. I have helped him in all ways possible. I have sent him the link to downgrade to 1.0, I have told him to re-install SA:MP, it just won't work. It works perfectly for me, yet his thing won't run. He can't get into MP, only SP, then I told him to delete his .set file in the user files, and now it won't open GTASA at all. Please help.

Edit: Also, I have XP, and he has Vista. He also doesn't have a d3d9.dll file

Did your friend installed SA-MP in the same folder as GTA: San Andreas?

That was his first problem. We fixed that, but still he couldn't connect. Te installation thing was way before the problem here
