Dont use auto aim?

No the game is not meant to be played like it does on PS2. If you notice GTA IV on PS3 & Xbox 360 the auto aim is commonly disabled in multiplayer mode.

There is a fix to this, Don't use auto aim. Use a keyboard and mouse thats the true 1337 gaming way.

Auto aim is original to GTA. The only reason it doesn't work with keyboard and mouse is because when converting the game to PC support for it wasn't added. (PS doesn't have a keyboard!) So really all of you people who say "auto aim sucks is for noobs" would actually be using it if it was supported on keyboard.

There is NOTHING wrong with using a joypad in this game, personally I use one, because I hate working the mouse and keybord for this game (I'm used to the PS2 version) but if you learn how to manually aim with the joypad, it's nothign different from the keybord and muse, just easyer to navigate around ect. Most of the time, auto aim is useless anyway, as half the time with all the dysych, you can' actually hit the target. So using a joypad, there is nothign wrong with it, if you're gonna use a joypad though, get used to the side effects.

Why are the side effects because of joypad? Why not because of keyboard and mouse? The problem is that keyboard and mouse doesn't recognize that other players use joypad, so logically it is using the keyboard that causes the side effects.

Keyboard and mouse FTW! The reason why people use controllers is because they can't handle the keyboard. Doesn't take time to get used to just 2 minutes really
