ok so when i try to connect to a server it tells we that i need to locate the file "gta_sa.exe" in order to play online. but i can't find that folder

It would normally be in My Computer/C:/Program Files/Rockstar Games/GTA San Andreas

You need the actual San Andreas game to play SA-MP.
