This is the same version as steam and direct2drive. I just bought it and I'm screwed now. You guys may want to add this everywhere on the website/stickies that say steam and direct2drive versions are not supported. I saw that warning, but figured this was the correct version... I'm not posting this to cause drama. I just don't want others to make this mistake.

Notice the picture has the mature rating but below it is rated adult, hinting that it is version 1....

I'm trying to get a refund due to false pretenses, ill let you know how it goes.

Downgrade it, it's not connected to steam so i'm sure downgradings possible..

The downgrader wont work with version 3, and i tried manually replacing the .exe with version 1 exe (off piratebay) It will actually load but the bar gets stuck at 50% and hangs forever until i close it.

just found out single player gets stuck on that bar as well, had to revert back to original.

You can play SA:MP with v3.0. I use Steams v3.0 version, you just have to use some inginuity to make it work.

The downgrader doesn't work on version 3!

That Gamestop page is incorrect. Shows the box art with a Mature rating then labels the game as Adult Only which it is only version 1.0 (technically when modded).

If there gonna label it that they should actually give you what your paying for v1.0.

The adult rating is why I bought it because I thought it was version 1. I got totally screwed.

I don't see why not. I bought the game under false pretenses. There is nothing illegal about it if I own the game. Hypothetically you could always pm me, for no specific reason of course.

Good luck on that but somehow I doubt it. When I have always dealt with Gamestop they have always been on the pretenses that they are suck a big company and don't care much about individual customers. I even seen some ******* videos of them sending 10 or more phone calls to people about games they recently bought and may want to trade in (at such a lost in value I will note as well).

Gamestop is located in the UK. I would recommend buying the game from HMV, that's where i got mine.
