So, I want to make a trailer for my server but I have not found any way I can easily create actors and make them walk, drive cars and play animations. I'm not afraid to dip my hands in scripting if it's necessary but it'd be awesome to have a IG tool. I've tried a plugin for MTA:SA but it isn't working anymore so I cannot use that anymore.
If anyone knows a useful tool/script I can use, i'd appreciate if you'd tell me. Thanks.

You can use DYOM and record in single-player.

Tried it, looks fine but it crashes when making a new mission and I can't showcase the mappings in DYOM, thanks for the suggestion though,

As a server - movie gamemode
as camera tool - camhunt (NOT CamHack)
as actors - Dynamic In-Game NPC Creator
as recorder - Bandicam
as editor - Sony Vegas

There's a quite useful ingame NPC maker (or several even). Those are very useful to record NPCs ingame and also play them back. For actors playing animations you can use actors.
If you want to make an NPC just walk from A to B you can also use FCNPC and simply use FCNPC_GoTo(), or record that as well.
For video editing etc I think ~Error gave some good suggestions.

If you've got a nvidia card, you should have a recording software already built in.
