Hey,

So today I made a unique feature for my server, basically it's a car battery system. It's features are as follows :-

• If the car is OFF and the lights are on, battery drains
• If the car is OFF and the alarm triggers, it will drain the battery.
• If the car has less than 50% battery it will need Jumper to start it.
• If the car has less than 25%, electronic system of the car will shut down.
• Once the car turns on, the battery will recharge slowly
• The jumer system needs jumper cable which can be bought from 24/7
• Once the car reaches 50% battery when using jumper system, the engine can be started again.
• And at last here is a video.

Just so you know, if your alternator fails, then there will be less charge than normal, to the point where it won't charge, and will need a mechanic with a spare alternator...

Normal charge off an alternator for a 12 volt system is up to 14 volts.


The usual issue with alternators is the brushes being dirty, or worn away. Simple 10-20 buck fix by replacing the brushes, which usually if people are working on them, they have a spare in stock, take the old one with them, and recon the old one back at a workshop.

There are some really funny texts along the video, ex:
"The battery is low, please use a jump start" should be "The battery is low, please jump start the vehicle".

If you want to make it even more realistic, add a wear system to battery, then player needs new battery after some time.

It could take to account the overall usage time and the times that battery has been very low.
Lower it gets, quicker it will wear out.

Server was empty, no one there... Battery system is working and I stopped the engine, kept lights on and it discharged battery like it should, also I drove without licence and violated speed limit two times

Annoying is that everything is done by long commands. Can car ignition be just a key on the keyboard?
I guess if everything is made very simple, more players will play.

In BlackTurbo CandyGirl server everything is quite simple and easy.
I had a plan to make a business server from the same game mode used there, but its too much work.
