So today I just noticed that the blood splat object does wrap around surfaces, is it related to its usage of particles?
can other objects do the same?

Solely as a wild guess, I would say it might have something to do with the collision of the object(s) the blood covers.

Wow, so unexpected. I think It has a special object flag or idk. It would be cool to use this flag if it would exist for the new custom objects.
