Hello people,
since a couple of weeks, I'm experiencing weird random FPS lags in SA-MP. Once I enter a server, the FPS gradually decreases until it hits nearly 0 which forces me to quit the game. This, however, happens totally randomly. There are also times I start the game and everything is fine. The lag ingame seems to be caused when too many objects are nearby. I've been monitoring my CPU and haven't seen anything worrying.
I have tried setting the graphics ingame to their lowest settings and it still didn't increase the FPS. Multicore is of course enabled. Does anyone have a clue what the problem could be?
Cheers,
Manyula

Thanks for the advice, but that didn't work. The lags seem to increase the more objects are loaded. I also tried reinstalling the game, but that was of no use either. And no, I don't have any mods whatsoever installed.

Here's more information. I just realized that not only the game starts lagging terribly, but my whole computer aswell. While the game is running, the CPU load is at about 35-40% and it takes about 0.3MB of RAM. I'm taking a closer look at the temperatures now.

Close all the unnecessary background programs. Try this options>display setup>advanced = lower draw distance all the way, frame limiter = off, widescreen = off, visual fx quality = low, anti aliasing = off, resolution = low( whatever works best for you).

I already posted that I tested playing on the lowest settings possible, and that obviously it didn't help.
I just now played the game and it worked like a charm. I also took a closer look at your points, Brainles5, checked everything twice and those are certainly not the problem. I find too high temperatures, however, to be the most likely reason. I'll have my computer cleaned up the next couple of days.
